Biokleen's line of all-natural cleaners had built a following with core natural food store consumers, but was having difficulty gaining broad, retail acceptance. Based on feedback gained by Koopman Ostbo in one-on-one consumer interviews, we identified the need to reposition Biokleen as a company that creates beauty products for the home. With that strategy as our guide, we undertook re-design of Biokleen packaging and executed public relations and advertising campaigns. In the two years since its rebranding, Biokleen experienced more than 100% growth in sales and distribution of its products.

When Cardno, a large international conglomerate, bought WRG Design, a very successful regional company, who did they choose to design the newly merged entity's marketing collateral? Koopman Ostbo. In this rebranding, the goals were to maintain the core clients of WRG Design by preserving the existing brand equity, while positioning the merged entity to grow in new markets by communicating the power of the sister companies' collective offerings. Koopman Ostbo developed collateral that satisfied these lofty goals successfully communicating to Cardno/WRG clients that they would continue to experience the creative, hands-on attention they were accustomed to, and enjoy the added benefit of problem solving resources from around the world.

Koopman Ostbo has worked with the Dairy Farmers of Oregon (DFO) since 2005 to reinforce the belief and trust Oregon consumers have in the wide variety of Oregon dairy products. The campaign is built upon the positioning statement of "Healthy Cows. Healthy Farms. Healthy Products." This campaign has been supported by public relations and an ongoing print and radio campaign that feature the natural dialogue from the farmers themselves.

Partners Crackers developed Get Movin' to be the first "healthier for you" snack line made with wholesome ingredients that could be found in convenience and mainstream grocery stores. KO wanted to reach parents and young adults by creating an energetic design that emphasized their positioning line, feeling' good, snacking' smart.

This pioneer organic brand's desire was to create an "evolutionary" change to the entire product line. Koopman Ostbo focused on three primary improvements; use a more realistic and contemporary style of fruit illustration, update the Santa Cruz signature logotype, and organize the use of white space to help create a lighter look and feel.
